She cringed. There was a wound on her belly, where the dog had picked her up. She blinked once and looked to see a human above her, the one who had made some sort of noise that made the dog drop her.
It didn't matter, though. Death was waiting to devour her, and if there was one thing to do was to accept it. She attempted to close her eyes again, but her last breath was gone.
She would not be in a never ending sleep.
She would be dead.
